About Us

We are Jonathan and Ellen Elliott and we farm in Marshall, VA about an hour west of Washington, DC.  We raise 100% grass-fed & grass-finished beef (no grain), pasture-raised heritage chicken, and pastured-pork.

We raise our chickens, pigs, and cattle without the use of hormones, antibiotics, or any chemicals.  We integrate plant and animal management on our farm.  This includes daily moves for the animals, allowing them to mimic natural herd movement while increasing soil health and plant diversity.  They turn the nutrient-dense plants into delicious and nourishing meat!

Together with several other Fauquier/Culpeper County farms & homesteads we created a co-op farm store where you can buy our meats as well as their
excellent eggs, vegetables, bread, honey, teas, and more.  We want to
create a place where you can find nourishing food for your family and
together strengthen our local food community.
